There are moves about whether the psychology practise we use cater for the African, South African communities in particular. This has long been going on where a number of mental healthcare users have shown to consider Psychology as a ‘western’ thing. Now African psychology seeks to speak to the biological, psychological, social and spiritiual element (BPS-S) of personhood.
